Day 30  - 14/8/09  - Thursday

Conveniently the hotel runs out of bread to toast just as the last people finish breakfast, we finish packing, and pack the bus. Around 11 we leave the Palm Tree and move a whole several hundred yards down the road to the Travellers Inn. Why? I'm not sure.... at this point Cliff comes back into his element with a series of vaguely amusing but completely pointless 'team building' games and tasks. A general review of the teams time in Africa over we get back onto the bus and start on our journey home. After just over an hour of heavy traffic we pass the hotel we stayed in the first night, and around 20 minutes later we arrive at the airport early. We have to stand around for about an hour as they don't start booking people in until 2pm. We get into the airport proper and book in, say goodbye to Cliff (who's now going to do some project in Kenya). I'm promptly reminded of my general dislike of airports, we board the plane. Flying is fairly smooth and dull a wonderfully view of Kilimanjaro from the plane again seems very close to us and very far away from the ground, still can't really believe we got all the way up there. Its raining heavily when we land at Nairobi, Kenya. A long wait here as the plane is cleaned and resupplied around us. We get back under way and land in Dubai, UAE just after half past midnight.
